Wrist & Ankle Pain

chiropractic care helps patients with carpal tunnel syndrome

How these joints are alike: The wrist and ankle manage fine control and balance. They both have multiple small joints that need precise alignment for comfort with daily tasks, sport, and uneven surfaces.

Common symptoms we help: Sprains/strains, soreness with typing or mouse use, pain with walking/running, stiffness on first steps in the morning, and lingering post-sprain instability.

Our approach

  1. Chiropractic Adjustments: Specific adjustments to carpal bones and ankle mortise/subtalar joints to restore smooth motion.
  2. Physiotherapy: Balance and proprioception work, gentle joint mobilization, tape or bracing when appropriate, and nerve-glide drills if indicated.
  3. Targeted Exercises: Foot intrinsic activation, calf and peroneal control, wrist extensor/flexor endurance, and grip-pattern progressions.
  4. Laser Therapy: Used for soft-tissue irritations (tendons/ligaments) to support circulation and tissue calm.
  5. Muscle Work: Myofascial techniques for forearm compartments, calf/peroneals, plantar fascia, and intrinsic foot muscles.

Why it works: Align → stabilize → coordinate. Restoring joint position and retraining balance reduces re-sprains and daily irritation.

What to expect: Short, frequent home drills to build resilience between visits.
